HBF strives to close the gap among minority and low-income high school students in Montgomery County and the State of Maryland. We support students that meet the following criteria:

High School Level

Students who are actively enrolled in an accredited public or private high school in Maryland and are between ages 16 to 21.

Low Income

Students who are members of families that fall within the low-income category as defined by the Federal Government.

Minority

HBF provides assistance to minority students, including but not limited to Hispanics and African-Americans.
